Recognition of the company’s historic role and contribution to the Greek diet.
The history of JOTIS goes hand-in-hand with the history of the Greek diet, a fact further confirmed by its gold award distinction from the Federation of Hellenic Food Industries (SEVT), at a symposium on the subject of "100-year History of the Greek Food and Beverage Market" organized at the Zappeion in Athens.
JOTIS was awarded the gold prize by SEVT for its 82 years of uninterrupted contribution to the evolution of the Greek diet as well as for its prominent role in Greek Business.
The name JOTIS holds a special place within the pages of the history of the Greek diet: it is a prime example of the evolution of an enterprise from a small Greek family-run business into a dynamic and innovative food company with an international orientation.
JOTIS participated in the Exhibition with a stand, where visitors had the opportunity to enjoy a brief historical review of the company’s creative course through archival entries, while they could also receive information about the company’s products and actions via printed material.
"For JOTIS, the SEVT distinction is yet another validation of its vision to contribute to the development of our country's economy, supporting the Greek family every day, with Greek products of high quality and incomparable taste, always at affordable prices," said Mr. Marios Papathanasiou.
