"Confection for a good cause." JOTIS new sweet offer in Crete.

JOTIS kicked off its "ZACHAROPLATHOUME" campaign in Crete and will gradually head to a multitude of destinations across Greece. The campaign combines the joys of homemade confectionery creation with donations to people living in the various regions who are in need.

As part of the campaign, hosted by famed chef Dina Nikolaou, the customers of two large supermarket chains in Heraklion and Chania had the opportunity to enjoy confectionery classes, while getting significant discounts on selected JOTIS products.

In addition, through the purchase of specific JOTIS confectionery products, customers contributed to two important social purposes and JOTIS actions: to meet the supply (equipment, furnishings, etc.) needs of the Guesthouse for Abused Women and Children operating in Heraklion, Crete and to offer 50,000 servings of “Anthos Aravositou” cream pudding to the children of needy families, who benefit from the Social Supermarket of the Municipality of Chania.

The initiative "CONFECTION FOR A GOOD CAUSE" is part of the JOTIS Company’s social responsibility actions and aims to support our fellow human beings, while at the same time inspiring women and men to use the JOTIS products we all have in our kitchens to offer their loved ones the joy of a delicious homemade dessert, with surefire success and guaranteed savings!

Mr. Marios Papathanasiou, Commercial Director of JOTIS said: "The history of JOTIS is interwoven with the concept of social responsibility and we are delighted to be in a position to carry out actions like ZACHAROPLATHOUME, which combine values that are top JOTIS priorities: those include the creation of homemade recipes for guaranteed quality, taste and savings, and the support of the most vulnerable social groups. The response to our efforts on the part of the various institutions and organizations in Crete has been overwhelming, and we wish to thank them wholeheartedly".
